Down under.

Few days after Christmas, after Jill, Sam and Celina had gone home again, what was left of our family decided to take a trip to some caves Ma had heard about. It was amazing. I didnt go expecting much, but basically they took a whole set of caves and decorated them with the most amazing Christmas displays, all fairy lights, and presents and old, jazzy christmas songs blaring out. Their weren't many people there either, so we ambled around at our own place and had a real ball of a time! The pictures can't really show how beautiful it all was, but I thought I might as well put them on as not.
So ere we go!

I took two shots for this picture, and in both of them Ma is telling Pa to take of his hat as it makes him look like an old codger, but I thought I'd just bung it on here anyway, cause I really like the bricked tunnel affect.

I think Mum is still goin on about that flippin hat, lol!

Naomi being a plonker.

Twice!!

In fact Nay was a big plonker that day, but, you know, thats what we love her for!

Some of the decor in the caves.

I took this shot on self timer and I really love it.
Aw, dis 'n mooie!
Annnnnd, then it got silly....

And then we got tired out!

OK, more updates are on the way.
And guys if you want more updates you'll have to comment more :-)

Goodness, Gracious me, I dont know where to start!

Ah me, it is so nice to be back on my blog.

After the initial sneezing fit, caused by all the dust its been gathering here over the last few months, I've just got to decide what to blog about first. Its just so much has happened since I last wrote. I think I'm gonna go with some pictures because everyone likes pictures, and its a good time, to show off my new state of the art 'Canon' digi camera, which I got for Christmas, and has become a little bit of an obsession and a tinseey bit of a problem, as I now have so many pictures, and there is no way in Christendom that my humble blog can accommodate them all.

I mean, d'ya remember the problems I had with the American Pics!

Well ... I do, and I have no wish to return in a hurry to that predicament.

These pictures are mainly from Christmas last year, which was absolutely splendid if a little unhealthy (in a strictly bodily sense, cause of all the foods that were just hanging around, waiting to be eaten.)

"With glutenous pies ... and casks of ale."
That is my quote for the day. See if you can guess where its from. The rest of the pictures will have captions, so enjoy!

I'm quite proud of meself for getting this shot, Freddy's hilarious look of scorn!

Experimenting with Dorit's eye. I think its a well cool shot!

Proud Grandparents, and a proud mother!

Jill and Nay. They bullied me repeatedly throughout the holidays. Don't worry, I'm not bitter, I think they're just jealous of my stunning literary skills! *Major Sarcasm*

Me and my lovely Nana, out for a walk on the railway line. Well, we walked, Nana got to ride the entire way on her hip and cool scooter, which out walked us all in the end!

Uncle Martin, in typical stance. Guitar in hands, smile on face!

Just playin around a bit with the colour enhancing gadget thingy. That's my living room as well.

Jill, Celina and Sam, came to spend Christmas with us, and I have to say, it was the best company ever!

Taking a traditional walk in the evening on Christmas day. Nice fence in the background, eh!

While I was washing up, (ON MY OWN) I noticed the gorgeous sky and rushed to take some pics.

These pics of Celina and parents were some of the first ones I took with it. She was absolutely to cute for words! She is such a little individual corker!

Sorry, sorry, sorry!

Happy new year everyone!
Yup, I bet you were all thinking that she's given up, got writers block, or just become depressed, cause of the month, and the talent that she's now realised she doesn't obtain.

Nope, I'm still very much here, and the fact is I have SO many things to write about, that its quite frankly not amusing anymore. I have words coming out of my ears, and at work when I should be concentrating on icing buns (in a strictly professional way) I find myself pondering sentence structure, and scouring my imagination for new words to use. I feel sorry for Dorit, who has to put up with my incessant babbling, and deeply philosophical conversations.

Okeeey, gotta speed up here, as I'm on a public computer in the town library, and Ive only got about ten minutes left.
What I'm trying to say is I cant update at the moment cause of Internet probs on the home comp, but as soon as its fixed I will bombard you with about ten blogs in a row, that have been stewing away in my head!

A quick update ... I'm now working part time in a bakery/petrol station. If this sounds bizarre to you then just keep it that way, don't think about it too much, cause you'll just end up confusing yourself even more. I get up extremely early in the morning, (good training, that) and work till midday, with a deaf lady of about 60 years and a very random assortment of people. I then proceed to spend the rest of the day either sleeping, planning my future, or giving evils to the computer.

Well, OK, time is nearly up, so enough of this. Be seeing you, and watch out for my updates.

They shall be fast and furious!
